Ahhh, I had the strange feeling that make and bash are different in
this respect ... sorry.

Bad, but this is at least a *different* error now, not related to
the ICE and upmendex/xetex, which is a bit better.
Did the test run at least over the upmendex and xetex tests?
What if you disable luajittex by removing it from the
LUAJIT_GOOD_ARCHS
list? After that it should compile without a problem???Hopefully.
