In general, that doesn't work, as the source packages aren't in jessie-security unless there's previously been a DSA released for them: adsb@wuiet:~$ wb info monotone . i386 . jessie-security W: can't get version info for monotone/i386 I've asked the security team (on IRC) how they'd like to proceed.
