Generally, Debian bug reports are not a support forum. You might get better help either on the upstream exim-users mailing list or on the pkg-exim4-users mailing list. You will need to give more information at either place, "it doesn't work" is just simply impossible to debug. Show configuration, show logs, and people might help you. Generally, it is not asking too much if you see fit to change the default configuration, you should also be able to debug your changes. Or at least give people a straw to hold on while helping you.
