I downgraded the severity as objectively speaking, this is a cosmetic issue.

The built-in parser is unfortunately very basic. Implementing the above
would require significant rework.

Unfortunately, I don't think the benefit would justify the cost here.
However, I don't want to tag this wontfix, as a patch would certainly be
accepted.
