Package: irssi
Version: 0.8.10-1
Severity: minor

The postinst and prerm scripts include calls to update-alternatives
suggesting that /usr/bin/irssi should be provided by the alternatives
system, and that the real executable is /usr/bin/irssi-text. This is
not the case, so the symlink in the alternatives directory is redundant
and points to nowhere.

If I run "update-alternatives --auto irssi", (eg. because I can't bear to
have any dangling symlinks on my system) then the /usr/bin/irssi file is
deleted, and obviously no symlink is provided to a working executable.
