What ${subject} says. Patch attached with the line that needs to be
added to cputable.
I think that it's all what's needed, if not please tell me what else
is missing.
Does the new arch satisfy:
<https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/Dpkg/FAQ#Q._Can_we_add_support_for_a_new_dpkg_architecture.3F>
Sorry, I forgot to comment on that (although I knew about it):
- there is support in config for quite a while:
http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/config.git/commit/?id=576c839acca0e082e536fd27568b90a446ce5b96
http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/config.git/commit/?id=b576fa87c140b824466ef1638e945e87dc5c0343
If you think that this can be improved, I can communicate this to the
relevant parties.
- the support in the toolchain projects has not been merged yet,
althought it's been planned for some time and can start at any moment
I understand if you don't want to enable support yet for this reason,
I can ping the bug when that happens.
- it can work with both endianness, but so far the expectations is that
everybody will use little-endian, thus the proposed name without -el
suffix. I wouldn't oppose to add -el explicitly.
- anything missing?
Cheers.
