Hi, I just tried out this theme and I found that the bug report is a little misleading.
The list is still there but the image that you are supposed to click to get the list of search engines is missing, at a certain spot inside the search text field the cursor changes to an arrow and if you click it at that spot the list drops down like in other themes.
