Package: dnsutils Version: 1:9.10.3.dfsg.P4-8 Severity: normal File: /usr/bin/dig
Dear Maintainer, while experimenting with DNSSEC and trying to validate response with dig I discovered, that dig from unstable lost support for +sigchase. Dig must be compiled with -DDIG_SIGCHASE. I tried to download source package and there is zito@bobek:/tmp/bind9-9.10.3.dfsg.P4$ fgrep DIG_SIGCHASE debian/rules export DEB_CPPFLAGS_MAINT_APPEND = -DDIG_SIGCHASE so I tried to run sbuild and this flag is surprisingly missing... zito@bobek:/tmp$ perl -ne 'print if m{Entering.*/bin/dig}..m{Leaving.*/bin/dig};' bind9_9.10.3.dfsg.P4-8_amd64.build | fgrep SIGCHASE zito@bobek:/tmp$ there is a problem with passing this flag during build.
