As reported on bug #821435, patchelf does not work correctly and fails the testsuite on mips*. Further research suggests that the new breaking change is that libc is now looking at a header it previously did not look at, which means patchelf never really worked correctly on mips. Therefore I request removal from all mips architectures. Saludos
