Just hit the same problem. The only solution/workaround mentionned here seems removing from the host two packages that are recommended by lxc, without a pointer to an external bugreport it the problem is not in Debian. I must say I'm quite puzzled.
Can someone please give some more info, so people hitting this problem can get a clue ?
