I have been looking at the code using the gnome-packagekit-gnome-3.14
source, and I inserted "ignore_updates_changed = TRUE;" at line 3009 of
gpk-updateviewer.c just before the call to
"gpk_update_viewer_get_new_update_array ();" recompiled and now the
dialog box is not doubled up. I did not extensively test if this has any
adverse affect to anything else, but it solved the issue for me.
