The exact steps to reproduce the issue on Debian Jessie:
- clean install of Debian Jessie, no desktop environment
- apt-get update ; apt-get dist-upgrade
- apt-get install xfce4
- login into XFCE4 desktop and run in terminal as a user:
$ gpk-update-viewer
- package updater window will appear
- let updater to upgrade a package
- two confirmation dialogs arise
