when qtbase5-dev is installed alongside the QT4 development files, the package build scripts uses the QT4 include files as specified, but the logik in the configure.ac file makes it pick up the Qt5 libraries. As a result the build fails. One option is to declare Build-Conflict:qtbase5-dev Anpther option would be to enable building against QT5 (since libqwt-qt5-dev is now in experimental), but the configure.ac script doesn't seem to have this properly implemented, i.e. I was not able to get this to work.
