Are either of these issues still reproducible with GNOME 3.18 packages
from stretch/unstable, or with GNOME Shell 3.20 from experimental?
3.20 in Wayland mode is working for me, on Intel HD3000 (mobile).
If they are, what graphics hardware are you using? Running
reportbug --template libwayland-egl1-mesa
should provide this and other relevant information.
