Thanks a lot. Perhaps I should have made a bug retitle because I suspect this did not have anything to do with "dpkg-buildpackage -A" as such. You talked before in this bug about problems with garbage collection. Would be possible for you to tell (briefly) what kind of problem this was after all? And more importantly: After the fix, will it now work with 2GB of RAM as well as 3GB or 4GB or any higher amount of memory? [ You will remember that the fact that it worked ok in your computer and it did not in another one with more memory was the most annoying thing about this bug ]
