I've addressed what you asked for, except for "[dropping] the dbg package, they are autobuilt now (you need to use the ddbg migration I think)", because I'm not sure if how that will affect a backport to Jessie. Jessie+backported LTS kernel+matching btrfs-progs is my primary target and what I personally use. Changes since btrfs-tools-4.4-1: * Non-maintainer upload. * New upstream release. * Rename package to btrfs-progs (Closes: #780081) * Update standards version to 3.9.6. * debian/control: Add "Breaks" per Gianfranco Costamagna's suggestion To access further information about the updated package, please visit the following URL: http://mentors.debian.net/package/btrfs-progs Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command: dget -x http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/b/btrfs-progs/btrfs-progs_4.4.1-1.1.dsc Thank you for the support!
