Package: librdf-ldf-perl Version: 0.17-1 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
RDF::LDF has been released with version 0.19. RDF::LDF tracks an evolving W3C specification, and they recently made a change that breaks all existing software. RDF::LDF 0.19 fixes this to make us uptodate with the spec. My main motivation for pestering you about this is that Ubuntu releases an LTS soon, and I would want to try to argue to them that it is a good idea to allow an update for this package so that Ubuntu ships with a non-compliant client, but that is much easier if they can just sync from Debian. :-) Cheers, Kjetil -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.3 APT prefers stable APT policy: (800, 'stable'), (500, 'stable-updates') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.14.7-5-robin (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
