Package: gnome-terminal Version: 3.20.0-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I recently noticed that I had two entries in the programs menu for Gnome Terminal. This turned out to be caused by having two differently named .desktop files present: • /usr/share/applications/org.gnome.Terminal.desktop • ~/.local/share/applications/gnome-terminal.desktop The second, I assume, was automatically generated, but should have been renamed when the name of the first changed. Deleting the second file resolved the issue for me, leaving only one menu entry.
