I managed to borrow a USB power meter and check how much power the smart card reader is using when running --card-status. I was surprised to discover that the power consumption was too low to measure. The ampere meter showed 0.00 A, and the voltage stayed put on 5.11 V. I guess that rule out the "not enough power" hypotesis. I would love to help debug this, but have no idea where to start. Perhaps we can discuss this on IRC? -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
