There's a transitional iceweasel package, which depends on firefox-esr, but that doesn't help people who want to use the more-frequently-updated firefox packages from unstable.
Adding alternative dependencies for both firefox and firefox-esr would fix this, and allow people to remove the transitional iceweasel package.
