Package: pulseaudio Version: 8.0-1 Severity: normal I have a Multitech The Block 4.0 bluetooth speaker. I've followed <https://wiki.debian.org/BluetoothUser/a2dp>, including adding 'load-module module-switch-on-connect' to /etc/pulse/default.pa and it basically now works.
However, if I turn the speaker off and then back on later, I have to restart pulseaudio (killall pulseaudio) to be able to use it. It shows up in pavucontrol's Configuration tab, but its Profile is "Off" there. If I change it (to A2DP Sink) it still doesnt show up in Output Devices, and if I reload pavucontrol I find the profile has changed back to Off.
