Well I sort of did for the moment (using still 2.6.10) when everything is compiled and installed and I reboot, the problem occurs as I described. However when I remove the relevant moduls. And then reload them everything is fine! #!/bin/sh rmmod ipw2100 rmmod ieee80211 rmmod firmware_class modprobe firmware_class modprobe ieee80211 modprobe ipw2100 I thought the problem is caused by /etc/modules-2.6.10 but now it does not matter how the modules are put in that list. I have to remove and insert them manually after rebooting. Strange Uwe -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
