In 95hdparm-apm, the code does't seem to contain separate hardcoded default values anymore (properly sources hdparm-functions instead). Only the comments at the beginning do not reflect that yet. 20hdparm, still seems to contain the separte configuration variables APMD_DRIVES APMD_SPINDOWN Unfortunately, I don't know, and neither the file name nor the comments explain when that file is used.
