I have systemd purged currently. Like I wrote, the problem also occurs with sysvinit, if /etc/init.d/lvm2 does not contain an additional sleep command before the vgchange call. With systemd, the sleep command does not help. So, journalctl is not available. What log is best in this situation? Regards Christoph Pleger
