The latest update (made today) in Debian Testing to Samba 4.3.3+dfsg-2+b1 shows the same buggy behaviour. In a share which export / only the directories and files are shown. However, chaning into a directory on a client (windows or smbclient) produces an error message 'permission denied'.Thanks.Chris
