Dropping "software" works, but I'm not so sure about "camera", since by default that means the non-video ("still camera") variety. As long as nobody expects PCs to have integrated SLR cameras it should be fairly obvious what you mean, but it still might be safer to say:It works on a standard computer equipped with a "webcam".
