Hi, I'm working on #492001
This obviously needs an MTA, a mailx, diffutils etc... but as this script is optional I wouldn't add those to the control file. (or Suggests: maybe ?) Some mailx doesn't seem to like UTF-8 quite much. The thing with the md5sums seems overly complex, I feel better to deliver something simple that works that holding on on that feature forever. This will already be usefull for me to locate bugs in other packages that couldn't be detected by piuparts, like files created at runtime but never deleted in postrm/prerm. There's a single-file repository here with currently only snapshots of cruft-common if you want: http://users.teledisnet.be/ade15809/ It is signed with my GPG key, I use it on all my computers.
