I can't confirm this on version 0.5. When I create a playlist of for instance mp3 audio tracks and sets the name to 'Testlist', for example, and then insert a dvd, go to the Go! tab, and select the Open DVD icon, then kaffeine simply switches from the Testlist playlist to the build in DVD playlist and starts playing. The Testlist playlist is left untouched, and you can go back to it using the drop down widget and select a track and start playing. It works just fine in my opinion. Anders E.
