Package: bluefish Version: 2.2.7-2 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
We have two Debian machines using bluefish and the same happens on both. One box has Debian unstable and the other has testing, we also tried on stable with the same results. The bluesfish version is 2.2.7. Bluefish behaves normally when using local files, but as soon as we connect to our file server and open any file, it will crash immediatly with the following message on dmesg: Several atempts: [ 116.010027] bluefish[2416]: segfault at 0 ip 0000000000455e7c sp 00007ffeeb56d6a0 error 4 in bluefish[400000+a7000] [ 124.512124] bluefish[2430]: segfault at 0 ip 0000000000455e7c sp 00007ffe21d5e2a0 error 4 in bluefish[400000+a7000] [ 129.298910] bluefish[2444]: segfault at 0 ip 0000000000455e7c sp 00007ffc9a4be100 error 4 in bluefish[400000+a7000] [ 270.471430] [sched_delayed] 4CE: hpet increased min_delta_ns to 20115 nsec Another atempt: [ 670.124613] bluefish[4781]: segfault at 0 ip 0000000000455e7c sp 00007ffe9c434d90 error 4 in bluefish[400000+a7000] [ 1694.102506] [sched_delayed] 4CE: hpet increased min_delta_ns to 30172 nsec Our file server is using MAC OS X El capitan - on both samba and AFP connections - the result is the same. We have other Macs using the same file server without any issue. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'testing-updates'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=pt_PT.utf8, LC_CTYPE=pt_PT.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages bluefish depends on: ii bluefish-data 2.2.7-2 ii bluefish-plugins 2.2.7-2 ii gvfs-backends 1.22.2-1 ii libc6 2.19-18+deb8u3 ii libcairo2 1.14.6-1 ii libenchant1c2a 1.6.0-10.1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.32.3-1.2 ii libglib2.0-0 2.46.2-3 ii libgtk-3-0 3.14.5-1+deb8u1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.38.1-1 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.38.1-1 ii libxml2 2.9.1+dfsg1-5+deb8u1 bluefish recommends no packages.
