it really is a conflict; if qt4 is available the IDE will not run [because it insists on using Qt4 over Qt5 if both are available, then dies for lack of qt4-webkit] I'm not sure about a transitional empty package: this wil lthen cause weird errors with packages that rely on qt4, instead they should break with a dependency (until they are upgraded to use qt5) Ian
