Dear Maintainer,
After installing and starting Nemiver, I can't find the local variables
pane anywhere.
I created a small test program which I compiled like this:
gcc -O0 -ggdb -o hello hello.c
Then I started nemiver:
nemiver ./hello
I expected to find a pane or tab listing all the variables in scope.
Quoting from the help file which I get if I press F1:
"Nemiver displays a list of all local variables in the Variables tab
of the Status Notebook."
There is no such thing as a Variables tab. The closest I can find is the
"Expression Monitor", which has two entries: "In scope expressions" and
"Out of scope expressions". Both are empty.

Hovering with the mouse over the variable called "accumulator" causes a
popup window to appear, with the correct value, indicating that Nemiver
indeed knows about this variable. Using this popup window is however
much too slow to be of any use for debugging.
