Package: endless-sky Version: 0.8.11-0vivid Severity: wishlist Well this is exciting! I love this game, and can't wait to see it on all debian platforms. ;)
I have tried using the packages from sid, the Ubuntu PPA (trusty and vivid), and all of them segfaulted shortly after the UI showed up. When building from the git source (scons; ./endless-sky), everything works fine and I was able to play for hours last night. Which is bad, for my social life and health, but is great from a software perspective. :) -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.3 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'proposed-updates'), (500, 'stable'), (500, 'oldstable'), (1, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.2.0-0.bpo.1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages endless-sky depends on: ii endless-sky-data 0.8.11-0vivid ii libc6 2.19-18+deb8u2 ii libgcc1 1:4.9.2-10 ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1] 10.3.2-1+deb8u1 ii libglew1.10 1.10.0-3 ii libjpeg8 8d-1+deb7u1 ii libopenal1 1:1.15.1-5 ii libpng12-0 1.2.50-2+deb8u2 ii libsdl2-2.0-0 2.0.2+dfsg1-6 ii libstdc++6 4.9.2-10 endless-sky recommends no packages. endless-sky suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
