Package: cdimage.debian.org Severity: wishlist Hi, tools like libosinfo keep a list of URLs to installation media. For Debian the URL needs to be udated for every point release since there's currently no stable URL. See e.g.:
https://git.fedorahosted.org/cgit/libosinfo.git/commit/?id=202acfef63226f72dcca843307ca773f72a46f6a and the images of old point releases are removed from the server. While there is a current link for the folder there is none for the DVD image atm: http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/current/amd64/iso-dvd/debian-8.3.0-amd64-DVD-1.iso Would it be possible to get a stable link for the DVD image as well like: http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/current/amd64/iso-dvd/debian-8-amd64-DVD-1.iso which would then point to the latest point release?
