Package: licq Version: 1.3.2-5 Severity: normal
Since I upgraded to licq 1.3.2, german umlauts in nicknames are not displayed correctly in the contact list. For each umlaut two rectangles are displayed instead. Moreover, when I send a message containing an umlaut to a user of ICQ for Windows, the message appears to be empty to this user. Sending messages to other users of licq or of Miranda seems to work perfectly. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.14.5h Locale: LANG=en_US.ISO-8859-15, [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages licq depends on: ii libc6 2.3.5-8 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcc1 1:4.0.2-5 GCC support library ii libgpg-error0 1.1-4 library for common error values an ii libgpgme11 1.1.0-1 GPGME - GnuPG Made Easy ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8a-5 SSL shared libraries ii libstdc++6 4.0.2-5 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii licq-plugin-qt [licq-plugin] 1.3.2-5 graphical user interface plug-in f Versions of packages licq recommends: ii sox 12.17.9-1 A universal sound sample translato -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
