I don't think 'grave' "renders package unusable" is correct for this since it seems to only affect those using diff files. I also don't use diff files and had not noticed any breakage. It would be a tragedy if it were removed from Testing for being unsuable since the package isn't actually unusable. It is quite usable to many. Most? Well... At least some of us. Who knows how many since there is no way to tell how many use --diff=none or not. Bob
