Indeed, aptitude segfaults in a 100% reliable way :) But.. um. This smells like multithreading issue again (qemu-user does not support it properly). Even single-threaded apps nowadays use threading primitives and sometimes fail. I'll try to dig deeper, but unfortunately I don't know much about linux-user qemu emulation. Thanks, /mjt
