Hi Regis, I have rebuilt the debian package for tellico on my machine. I have installed all the dependencies plus libkcompactdisc-dev. I don't know if this dependencies is really needed, build dependencies of tellico does not have a direct dependency on that library. I have installed it because of the following thread[1] in tellico mailing list and especially, the following message[2]

Now, the following command outpout something: # ldd $(which tellico) | grep cddb libkcddb.so.4 => /usr/lib/libkcddb.so.4 (0x00007f457944e000) I hope this will help you in fixing the issue.
