I'd like to see /lib/systemd/system/systemd-timesyncd.service.d/disable-with-time-daemon.conf go away, once chrony, opentpd and ntp ship proper native .service files. So I'd rather not see more stuff added there. I think this should either be added to systemd upstream to have ConditionVirtualization=!oracle But I running under VBox virtualization does not necessarily mean, the VboxService is running inside the host. So I would really like to see this fixed properly instead, by having virtualbox ship a native service file which has a Conflicts=systemd-timesyncd.service We won't get there by adding more workarounds to the systemd package. -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
