Package: iceweasel-dbg Version: 44.0~b6-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
I am trying to track down a segfault bug in iceweasel so I can report it. However I am hampered by the fact that a) the crash appears to be in libxul b) the debug info for libxul doesn't match the library. I have tried with iceweasel (with matching iceweasel-dbg) versions 43.0.4-1 and 44.0~b6-1 as both exhibit the crash bug, and in both cases gdb reported: warning: the debug information found in "/usr/lib/debug//usr/lib/iceweasel/libxul.so" does not match "/usr/lib/iceweasel/libxul.so" (CRC mismatch). -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (600, 'unstable'), (550, 'experimental'), (500, 'oldoldstable-updates'), (500, 'testing'), (400, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.3.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_CA.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages iceweasel-dbg depends on: ii iceweasel 44.0~b6-1 ii libnspr4-dbg [libnspr4-0d-dbg] 2:4.11-1 ii libnss3-dbg [libnss3-1d-dbg] 2:3.21-1 iceweasel-dbg recommends no packages. iceweasel-dbg suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
