Package: wireshark-gtk Version: 2.0.1+g59ea380-3 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
I just switched from the Qt version (see 811036) and was slightly surprised there was no wireshark command, only a wireshark-gtk. It'd be nice to have a wireshark command no matter which version is installed. This shouldn't be too difficult using the alternatives mechanism. Hope this helps. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'testing-updates'), (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.3.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ja_JP.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Versions of packages wireshark-gtk depends on: ii libc6 2.21-6 ii libcairo2 1.14.4-1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.32.3-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.46.2-3 ii libgtk-3-0 3.18.6-1 ii libnl-3-200 3.2.26-1 ii libnl-genl-3-200 3.2.26-1 ii libnl-route-3-200 3.2.26-1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.38.1-1 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.38.1-1 ii libpcap0.8 1.7.4-2 ii libportaudio2 19+svn20140130-1 ii libsbc1 1.3-1 ii libwireshark6 2.0.1+g59ea380-3 ii libwiretap5 2.0.1+g59ea380-3 ii libwsutil6 2.0.1+g59ea380-3 ii wireshark-common 2.0.1+g59ea380-3 ii xdg-utils 1.1.1-1 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-2+b1 wireshark-gtk recommends no packages. wireshark-gtk suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- Olaf Meeuwissen, LPIC-2 FLOSS Engineer -- EPSON AVASYS CORPORATION Free Software Foundation Associate Member since 2004-01-27 Support Free Software https://my.fsf.org/donate Support the Free Software Foundation https://my.fsf.org/join
