I concur with the reporter of this bug. There should be default limits
set on the system. Ideally, they should be set to reasonable values
depending on the hardware.

It should not be possible to lock a system with too many processes or a
process hugging all memory. This is also true on desktop systems; when
mozilla starts eating all memory, it should be killed before filling the
swap and letting the user hear the sound of his hard disk, and finally
reboot.
