Package: module-init-tools Version: 3.2-pre1-2 Severity: normal
modprobe from module-init-tools reads module options etc from /etc/modprobe.d, but the manpage from modutils for modules.conf says that modprobe will read it. I suggest either overriding the manpage with one containing a warning that the installed modprobe will not read it, or reassigning this bug to modutils to add a note to the existing manpage that it will only be read by the modutils modprobe. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (10, 'unstable'), (10, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.12.4 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages module-init-tools depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
