() I transfered several pdfs from my home directory to another one, as invoking fontforge with the '-new' option (which worked flawlessly) made me curious (thats why the backtrace). Boils down to none (pdf-filewise) in particular - removing them all causes no hickups either, but starting the program in a directoy full of (other) pdfs doesn't end in a segfault neither. Don't know what's wrong here: not a special file (umlauts,...) nor the (accumulated) size... Greetings
