Control: tag -1 help

thanks for the report. I’m no expert on .desktop files, and I do not
use a desktop environment these days, so until I find the time to look
into this, I’ll happily accept help or patches.

I don’t think completely removing the .desktop file is the right thing,
as I want gnome-screensaver to know about the screensaver. Note that
there is

Categories=Screensaver

in the .desktop file, but from your observation, it does not work as
intended.
