Hi, I tried installing ifupdown and rebooted afterwards.I did not have any network connection after reboot and was unable to get my system back into a working state.
So I tried reinstalling stretch from scratch.The debootstrap process hangs on ifupdown, sayng something like 'can't process ifupdown'
IMO that justifies "Severity: critical"
