I’m working my way through updating dependencies to build notary and I suspect that it’s not going to be as simple as updating grpc to the latest version.
According to the Godeps JSON data for notary, the commit used from the grpc repo is 3e7b7e58f491074e9577050058fb95d2351a60b0 which is somewhere between the current Debian version and the current top-of-tree from the git repo. I’ve tested a package made using 3e7b735 and it compiles correctly, but not all the unit tests pass. This might be fixable with some tweaks to the notary source to bring it up to the grpc master branch, but it’s currently beyond my current Go skill level to figure it out. Tim.
