Package: alpine
Version: 2.20+dfsg1-2
Followup-For: Bug #803956

Dear Maintainer,

This bug is still present in alpine 2.20+dfsg1-2.

Fortunately I discovered that adding the Fcc and X-Status headers to the
postponed message causes alpine to preserve the Message-ID header. So a
workaround is to add the following options to the git format-patch command:

   git format-patch --add-header="Fcc:" --add-header="X-Status:" --thread ...
