The my-default.cnf referred here https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-5.6/+bug/1422391 does not seem to exist in MariaDB, so I am not adding it too. For the rest of the files I won't do anything now, as I prefer not to move around files without a clear motivation.
