Hi, I think the problem here is that you used the official version along with Debian's one. They both use the same configuration in ~/.netbeans, and we cannot guarantee that this always works perfectly. So in short I recommend to use only one of them, naturally the Debian one :), to avoid any conflicts. You should also be on the safe side if you remember to rename your config directory whenever you change IDEs. Then both should be able to co-exist. I'll keep this bug report open for a while in case someone has a similar problem.
