Package: bristol
Version: 0.9.1-11
Severity: important

If I start bristol, (no matter if I use oss or alsa), I get something
along the lines of

Initialise the mini link to bristol: 5d2cc0
hostname is localhost, bristol
port is 5028
connfailed
opening link to engine: -1
hostname is localhost, bristol
port is 5028
connfailed
cleanupBristol(-4)
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ parent exiting

startBristol -libtest instead fails with:

Initialise the mini link to bristol: 5d2cc0
CID: 0
createDisplay()
createDisplay()
done create interface: 5d10f0, 5d2cc0
brightonWorldChanged(748 400 10 10)
/usr/bin/startBristol: line 114: 19605 Segmentation fault
bristol.real $* -engine
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ parent exiting

If I do "startBristol -seq", I get a process
bristolengine -preload 4 -bufsize 1024 -audio oss -midi alsa -seq -seq
that doesn't go away after startBristol exits prematurely.

If I start aconectgui while this process is around, aconnectgui
segfaults. If aconnectgui is running when I startBristol -seq, no
spurious bristolengine stays behind.

Yours, Florian
